As a School of Business Distinguished Alumni Awardee in 2009 and a Prominent Patriot in 2018, Will Seippel, BS Economics and Accounting ’78, has maintained strong connections with George Mason University while growing his company, WorthPoint. Founded in 2007, WorthPoint is a site for both businesses and individuals to identify and research the value of antiques, fine art, and other collectibles.

An active board member and past chair of the Accounting Advisory Council at the George Mason University School of Business, A.J. Eschle, BS Accounting ’08, MBA ’12, works with the accounting area to prepare students for the accounting profession and to ensure that the school’s programs are where they need to be.

The Master’s in Real Estate Development program provided Charles Dubissette, MRED ’22, with the connections and expertise necessary to successfully launch his own brokerage firm.

Within George Mason University, a handful of our alumni are taking the lessons they’ve learned in the classroom and using them as an opportunity to give back to their alma mater – through a variety of career leadership positions across the university.

At George Mason University School of Business, countless resources are offered to prepare students and help them discover and secure fulfilling career paths. Mason Mentors, one of those valuable resources, is a free networking platform for School of Business students and recent graduates to connect with alumni.

Award-winning Chef Victor Albisu, BA Politics and International Relations ’99, has cooked around the world, but the George Mason University community is home, where he created memories and found his true calling.

Ishrah Ahmed, BS Accounting ’16, had been studying pharmacy at St. John’s University before she moved to Virginia, where her husband Saad Ahmed, BS Information Systems and Operations Management ’17, was enrolled in the George Mason University School of Business.

Before becoming global director of sustainability at Kearney, Sree Kancherla enrolled in the MBA program at George Mason University’s School of Business to gain new skills and expand her professional network.

Always helping underserved communities both near and far, Venkat Kodumudi, MBA ’10, and his wife Dr. Mysore Maitri have founded the Prema Endowed Scholarship to support School of Business students at the institution that they greatly value.

The nomination process for Prominent Patriots reengaged Pam Maple, MBA ’09, and opened her eyes to the critical work of the School of Business Alumni Chapter. She is now the chapter’s president and volunteers her time and resources on behalf of the school, including for the Emerging Business Leader Endowed Scholarship.
