Ishrah Ahmed, BS Accounting ’16, had been studying pharmacy at St. John’s University before she moved to Virginia, where her husband Saad Ahmed, BS Information Systems and Operations Management ’17, was enrolled in the George Mason University School of Business.

Learning new software and technology in the graduate certificate program for accounting analytics has helped Allison Sanchez attain a highly sought internship and put her on the fast track to become a leading professional in her field. 

For the second consecutive year, and for the sixth time in 11 years, a team of George Mason University School of Business Master’s in Real Estate Development (MRED) students took home the top prize at the Capital Challenge.

George Mason University’s master’s in management program is designed for recent graduates with liberal arts, sciences, and engineering degrees. People with minimal work experience and a desire for quick career advancement will find an abundance of opportunities in the program.

Through several ventures, including the SheEO Academy and the Women in Business Initiative (WIBI) at the School of Business, DeShawn Robinson-Chew puts her passion into practice by educating and empowering young women interested in entrepreneurship.

Always helping underserved communities both near and far, Venkat Kodumudi, MBA ’10, and his wife Dr. Mysore Maitri have founded the Prema Endowed Scholarship to support School of Business students at the institution that they greatly value.
