Biography
Taotao Ye earned his PhD in marketing at Mays Business School, Texas A&M University. He is interested in quantitative marketing and his substantive research interests lie in the intersection of omnichannel retailing, mobile marketing, and marketing technology. His research studies how consumers’ mobile app users can better predict their lifetime value. Tao also studies the impact of store closures and in-app payment methods introduction on retailers’ sales and consumers’ omnichannel shopping behavior. He applies causal modeling, machine learning, Bayesian statistics, LLM, and other quantitative methods/tools to real-world data.
