Accounting Honors Program

The Costello College of Business Honors Program is a school-wide program that provides highly motivated Business students with an enriched academic experience integrating curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular development. The program provides many opportunities, both academic and professional, for students who meet the qualifications. Honors program participants will have the opportunity to interact closely with faculty in informal settings, visit employer sites during special honors program field trips, take an honors capstone course, and include their résumé in special honors program communications with key employers.

Accounting Society of Mason (ASM)

Established in 2011, the Accounting Society at Mason strives to provide accounting, ISOM, and finance students with the means to network with fellow students and potential employers. We host recruiting, informational, and social events on campus throughout the year by building relationships with numerous firms in the Washington, D.C. metro area to help achieve these goals.

Alpha Kappa Psi is the largest CO-ED Professional Business Fraternity on GMU Campus, as well as nationally. Be the Change

Be the Change is a student-run organization focused on connecting business with community service and sustainability. The club's activities and goals align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The club originated from the George Mason Costello College of Business program called Impact Fellows, and Be the Change is now expanding to students who are interested in becoming sustainable business leaders! Be the Change has participated in environmental clean-up efforts around Mason with Student Government. They also assist women's shelters through clothing donations and are looking to expand into upcycling and other creative mediums to assist with gender inequality and environmental sustainability!

Founded in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi is an honor organization for financial information students and professionals. There are over 300 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi's formation. All of our chapters are AACSB and/or EQUIS accredited. Activities include frequent meetings with presentations by members of the accounting and financial services professions. Beta Gamma Sigma

Beta Gamma Sigma is a scholastic business honor society. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student can receive in an undergraduate or master’s program at a school accredited by AACSB. Each year, the top ten percent of juniors, the top ten percent of seniors, and the top twenty percent of master’s students are invited to join the society.
