Qualifications

  • An ideal candidate applying to be on the DoD’s financial team would possess the following qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, management, or a related degree field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to public service
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • US citizenship, suitability for federal service, and ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Registered for Selective Service (for males born after Dec 31, 1959)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD FM Certification (within first 2 years of starting service)
