Tadjer-Cohen-Edelson & Associates, Inc (TCE) was established in 1962 and is an award-winning consulting structural engineering company with projects in over 20 states and in other countries. We are currently looking for a qualified full-time staff accountant.
This position involves accounting duties for a medium-sized firm and requires strong bookkeeping skills with excellent administrative skills. Specific duties include those related to cash basis accounting maintained through our Deltek Vantagepoint software, handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, invoicing and bank account reconciliations, review of project expenses and billable time charged. Candidate should also have general ledger experience through entering journals, compiling reporting for month-end and fiscal year-end closing, variance analysis, and forecasting. Experience with financial statements is preferred as is the ability to provide operations support for financial analysis when needed. Other duties include some HR responsibilities.
The ideal candidate must have 2 years of experience, be self-motivated, have strong organizational skills, and be a team player. Familiarity and experience with Deltek Vantagepoint is highly preferred. Microsoft Office and Excel efficiency is necessary. Salary open.
