Client Service Manager Internship
About Us
We are a Private Wealth Advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC. For over 30 years we have helped people make smart financial decisions and achieve their long-term goals through our unique, personalized approach to financial planning.
Our office is located in Dupont Circle in downtown Washington, DC. Our team consists of:
- Three advisors (one with over thirty years of experience, one with over twenty years, and another with nearly 10 years of experience – a Virginia Tech CFP graduate).
- Two full-time staff
Our team cares deeply about each other and our clients. We invest in our people and strive for a positive and fun work culture.
We look to hire a current Junior or Senior college student in a paid internship role. Specifically, we seek a person who participates in the CFP Program at their current university and wants to pursue a career in financial planning. Ideally, a successful internship will lead to a full-time role with opportunities to grow your career in our practice long-term.
This position will support the three financial advisors by attending as many client meetings as their schedule allows. The intern will become familiar with the relationship side of our business. As the client service manager, you will be responsible for taking notes and assigning and completing action items from our meetings. We believe that this experience will help the individual learn the business and help them pursue a career as an advisor.
