22nd Century Technologies is exploring an entry into the global semiconductor industry and would like to hire a George Mason Intern to support a full-lifecycle study of the industry.
Intern will participate in, and support a study that will help the organization gain an understanding of the industry. Study aspects may include:
- Semiconductor industry ecosystem
- Market size – global, US and India
- Market leaders and other players
- Technology considerations
- Technology transfer issues
- Trade restrictions / export controls
- Challenges –supply chain, sourcing, manufacturing, market demand, sales, fulfillment
- Economic feasibility / financial considerations
- Geopolitical impact
- Operational location/s such as India, US
- US – India Defense ties, and the potential opportunities
- Marketing strategies adopted by Industry
- Staffing considerations
