We are a leading service provider in the DMV area looking to hire an intern to start in 2023. Preferably a student working towards an accounting degree, looking to get some work experience in the field. Other business degree majors are also welcome to apply. This internship will be fully in-person at our office in Tyson's Corner. No prior experience is needed.
Location: Tyson’s Corner, VA (fully in-person, no remote work)
Compensation: Paid Internship ($13-$15/hr)
Duration: Spring Semester, Part time (approx. 20 hours a week)
Some tasks as a tax intern at Lipsey and Associates include;
- Tax return data entry
- Data organization
- Daily administrative tasks
- Updating client information in database
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Preparing financial documents
- Answering calls and replying to emails
Some necessary skills for this job include;
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Excel and Word
- Basic tax knowledge
- Efficient computer skills
- Communication and collaboration skills
