Overview: Our start-up technology company seeks a marketing and data entry intern from May 2022 to mid-August 2022. Start and end dates are flexible. We are curating targeted email lists to support our customer discovery and sales initiatives.
Main Tasks: The majority of the day-to-day work will involve structuring text data into excel spreadsheets (names, titles, locations, thematic interests, job functions) and building segmented distribution lists across three platforms: the Bloomberg Terminal, Mailchimp, and Excel. In addition, design and execution of targeted marketing campaigns to the segmented lists may be required using Canva, Word, Ripl, PowerPoint, & Vimeo.
Training Provided: The intern will return to school in the autumn with practical experience and expanded skill sets in the following areas:
- working with certain parts of the Bloomberg Terminal
- customer relationship management (CRM) design for the finance industry
- domaine knowledge: structure of job functions in the finance industry and how to sell data into the finance industry
- domaine verticals: deeper knowledge of digital currency, climate finance, monetary policy, and other issue areas covered by our data
- entrepreneurship
