Lipsey and Associates is a small CPA firm located in Tyson's Corner, VA. We are looking for an intern for the summer to help us with the following:
- Individual Tax Return Data entry (form 1040)
- Business/ Corporation Tax Return entry (Form 1065, 1120S)
- Organization of the digital client files
- General Administrative tasks
- Updating Client information in database
- Maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Preparing financial documents
- Answering calls and replying to emails
We are looking for candidates with the following skills, traits, & characteristics:
- Communication and collaboration (plus other general soft skills)
- Computer Skills (ability to use excel, word, and other general computer skills)
- Basic tax knowledge, or the mindset to learn as you go
- Willing to learn new software
- Ability to work independently when needed
- Thorough, hardworking, and engaging
- Listens well to instructions
- Bright and uplifting
